I booked this Toyota RAV4 in San Diego through QEEQ and my trip plan was not very sure at that time. I still remember that night when I made the booking. I looked at my laptop and said to myself, if they charge a big amount now my credit card will feel very tight again. Then I saw this option called One-Dollar Freeze. I only needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car and the rest would be charged automatically before the pick up date. I felt relaxed right away. Later my company changed the schedule a few times. For a while I even thought maybe I would not go to San Diego at all. Every time I checked my bills I felt pretty calm because there was almost no pressure at the beginning and my card limit was not blocked by a big payment. I even joked with my colleague and said I locked a car with just the money of a cheap coffee. In the middle of May the plan was finally fixed. I knew I would arrive in San Diego on May 18 in the morning and go to the Avis counter to pick up the car on May 19 in the morning. One or two days before that I saw the full charge show up on my credit card. It gave me a feeling that the trip was really happening but it did not feel sudden because I already knew it would be auto charged. On the pick up day around nine in the morning I went to the Avis counter and showed my booking. The process was pretty smooth. For me the most special part of this experience was not really the car itself. It was that time when I only paid 1 dollar to hold the booking. During that time I could keep changing the company schedule and still did not worry about a big amount already sitting on my credit card. This payment way feels very good for business trips where plans change a lot and it makes the whole thing much easier for me.

Can I really book a car with only one dollar. This was the first thing in my head when I saw One-Dollar Freeze on QEEQ. I was planning to use a car in London and my budget was pretty tight. I did not want my credit card to get hit by a big payment at once. I was counting my money and I thought it would be nice if I can hold a car first and pay later. Their service said I only need to pay 1 dollar first and the rest will be charged automatically before the rental starts. I was a bit worried at first. I thought maybe there are hidden fees or they will charge extra. I checked my booking many times and kept thinking about it. Then I told myself to just try it. When I placed the order it felt really easy. My phone showed only 1 dollar was charged. I felt much less pressure and I did not need to worry if my card had enough money for the full amount at that moment. Later when I picked up the Volkswagen Golf automatic near London I was still thinking that I was lucky to use One-Dollar Freeze. If I had paid everything long before the trip I would be very nervous about my budget. One or two days before the rental started I saw the rest of the money charged on my credit card in a normal way. There was no interest and no strange fees. That made me feel safe. For someone young like me this pay a little first style is very friendly. Before I really take the car I still feel I have some space to adjust my plan and my mind is much more relaxed.

Can I really book a car with just one dollar This was my first thought when I saw the One-Dollar Freeze option on QEEQ. It said I only needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car. I was planning my trip to Nice in France. I would arrive around May 21 at noon and leave around May 27 in the evening. I needed a small automatic car like a Volkswagen Golf. I tried this payment option and on the payment page it really only took 1 dollar. My credit card bill also showed only this small amount. I felt a lot more relaxed because I did not need to pay the full rental price at once. The pressure on my credit card was much lower and I could keep more money for my flight and hotel first. A short time before I arrived in Nice the rest of the rental fee was charged to my card automatically. I did not need to do anything extra and there was no extra charge. When I went to the SIXT counter at the airport to pick up the car the staff checked my booking and everything was fine. They prepared a same group car for me and no one stopped me or asked me to pay some strange extra money because of the payment method. During this rental the thing I liked most was this way of paying only 1 dollar at the start to lock the car. It made the booking feel very easy and my budget felt more flexible.

Can you hold a car with just one dollar That was the first thing in my head when I saw the One-Dollar Freeze on QEEQ. I was planning my trip and my budget was not very clear. I still wanted a car in Nice so I just paid one dollar to lock it. I felt much more relaxed after that. Before the trip started they took the rest from my card automatically. I did not need to worry in the middle. I also did not need to pay a big amount at once so my credit card pressure was small. When I think about it now the whole booking felt very easy. I could fix the car and the price first then plan other things slowly. For a student like me with limited money this payment way is really nice. It is simple and it feels safe for young people.

"Mom did we really book the car I saw you only paid a tiny bit" My daughter asked me in the living room while it was still raining lightly outside in April and I was checking the booking I made from QEEQ. She was right. That day I only paid 1 dollar as a booking fee because I used their One-Dollar Freeze plan and I was a bit surprised myself. I was getting food ready for her breakfast for the next day and doing some math in my head. We would stay in Portland for a while so there would be many costs. If I paid the whole car rental at once on my credit card it would feel very heavy. I explained to her. "Now I just pay 1 dollar. They will take the rest before the trip starts automatically." She did not really believe it and asked again. "Will they charge more money" I said. "No. There is no interest. It just keeps the car for us." After that I almost did not touch this booking for several days. I was busy with her class schedule checking Portland weather and choosing which story books to pack. Sometimes when I walked past the couch and saw the confirmation email on my phone I felt calm because I knew most of the money had not left my account yet. Near the end of April when it was close to our pick up time the living room was bright in the morning and I was packing our bags. My phone showed a message that the payment was done. I checked the amount. It was the same price I saw before. No extra charge and no strange fee. At that moment I felt this One-Dollar Freeze plan is really good for parents like me who travel with kids. The money is not locked all at once and the pressure on my credit card is much lower. I can keep more cash for things my child needs. When we headed to Portland in late April to pick up the car in the morning my mind felt light. I did not feel that big weight from a full prepayment because everything was already taken care of automatically. I only needed to look after my kid and our bags.

When I think about this booking I still feel pretty relaxed. That day at home my kid was running around the living room and I was on my phone. I opened QEEQ and the only thing in my head was that I did not want extra pressure. Taking a kid on a trip is already a lot. We planned to use a car around mid May in Panama City in Florida. On the page I saw a plan called One-Dollar Freeze. It said I just needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car and the rest would be charged before the rental started. It also said there was no interest. My first reaction was to doubt it. Only 1 dollar. I started to think about my recent bills in my head. My credit card was already heavy from family costs so I did not want a big charge right away. I pulled my phone closer and read the text a few times. I did not see any strange words about extra fees or interest. My heart slowly calmed down. It felt like someone was saving a spot for me and I could pay later when the trip got close. In that moment I felt a small sense of safety. My cash flow could still breathe a little. So I clicked to book. When I got the confirmation email I felt quite calm. The order said I would pick up the car in Panama City around May seventeenth in the early afternoon. The car group was like a Mazda CX 50 SUV with automatic transmission and five seats. It sounded just right for my family. In my head I could already see my kid in the back seat asking many questions while I tried to follow the GPS and keep him quiet at the same time. The part that really made me like this plan came a few days before the trip. One night I was washing dishes and suddenly thought about the charge. I was a bit nervous. I worried there might be a big charge that would surprise me. I opened my credit card record and saw that the full amount was taken not long before the start date. The number was the same as I expected. There were no strange extra fees. At that moment I felt they were quite fair. Our family had many costs at that time. My kid’s school fees daily food and clothes and even some small home projects. I really did not want to see any interest or some delayed random charge. This One-Dollar Freeze felt like it pushed the pressure to a better time but did not act like a normal loan. It was more like holding a place for me. Then when I was ready in my head and had my bill plan set they charged it in one go. When I stood in line at the rental counter I saw some other parents counting money and talking with the desk staff. I felt a bit lucky. At least when I booked I only used 1 dollar to make things sure. That small number had a big meaning to me as a dad. It did not feel like I had to empty my savings for this trip. It felt more like I could lock the plan first and then arrange the money step by step. During those days my kid kept asking me if we really had a car to drive. I smiled and told him that the car was already booked and he did not need to worry. I could say that with confidence because that first easy payment was already done. Paying just 1 dollar made it feel like the whole trip and our time line were locked in instead of my card being locked by a huge early payment. On the return day around May twenty third near noon I parked the car and carried my kid out of the child seat. I thought that if I had needed to pay the full amount far in advance I would have felt very tight in those one or two months. Looking back this way of paying 1 dollar first and then an automatic charge before the rental started was really friendly for a family like us that has a lot of small things to handle. Through this whole experience their payment plan took away a lot of mental pressure for me. I did not need to freeze a big amount of money too early and I did not need to worry about interest. For me it was more about a comfortable rhythm. The trip went as planned and I had a clear idea of when the bill would hit. Because of this my feeling about booking on QEEQ this time is quite positive.
