It is about a 3 minute walk from terminal. If required, there is a shuttle bus from 0500-0000hrs that runs every 15-30mins. LOCAL RENTER: Exit M42 Jn 6-Follow signs to car hire PREFERRED SERVICE: Avis preferred renters can go straight to Avis desk in car park to collect the keys and documentation. OUT OF HOURS: Park car in AVIS/BUDGET bay in car hire return. Then take key to AVIS/BUDGET desk located in baggage claim in the terminal building. Keybox is located to the right of the budget desk.

Birmingham Airport is directly connected to Birmingham International Station by a free ‘Air-Rail Link’ system. The air-rail link takes two minutes to get to the station. Arriving at Birmingham Airport by bus Transfer buses to and from Birmingham airport run regularly throughout the day. The pick-up point is the ‘drop and go’ car park situated opposite the terminal building.
