AXA Full Coverage

I have to say if I did not buy AXA Full Coverage when I booked on QEEQ my business trip in Bali would be a mess because of the car damage. I flew there from the US and picked up the car around the afternoon of May 4, about one pm. It was a Toyota Agya from Easy Rent Bali with automatic gear. The car was small and easy to drive and the first few days everything was fine. I even thought in my head that this trip was going very smooth. Close to the return day things went wrong. It was around the afternoon of May 10 about four pm. I parked the car and went to a meeting. When I came back I saw a long scratch on the side of the car. My heart just dropped. In my mind I said this is bad I will need to pay a lot of money now. The staff at the rental counter checked the car. They told me there was a scratch and I had to pay a pretty big charge. I paid it with my credit card right there. I felt really upset but I had no choice. On the way back I suddenly remembered that I had bought AXA Full Coverage. I started to think if this insurance is real and if it can pay back my damage. So I contacted customer service and told them what happened. They were calm and told me I needed to provide some documents. Those days I was busy with work and also busy with the claim. I was looking for the rental contract and then for the credit card slip. I was afraid I would miss something. I even got the currency wrong. I wanted to get the refund in euro because my bank is in Europe but I filled the form with USD by mistake. I felt it was all very confusing. Later customer service reached out to me again and said the accident time and the currency needed to be corrected. I got nervous because I was scared that if I made mistakes the claim would fail. I followed what they said. I corrected the accident time to match that afternoon when it really happened and I confirmed the claim amount again in Indonesian rupiah equal to euro. They kept checking the numbers with me. I remember the final approved amount was around IDR 864968. When I changed it to euro it almost covered what I had paid at the rental counter. During that period my phone kept getting emails back and forth. It felt like I was fighting with the damage fee but actually the steps were not as hard as I thought. I was just too stressed at the start. After a while customer service told me that the insurance company had agreed to pay this amount. When I saw that number I felt so relieved. I thought it was really worth it that I paid extra for the insurance. With this experience I feel that AXA Full Coverage really works. A small but annoying problem like a scratch on a rental car still got paid back. As a business traveler this kind of protection makes me feel much safer.

AXA Full Coverage

That Bali trip started像一个小插曲 for us. I booked the car with QEEQ and because I was traveling with my kid I decided to pay extra for AXA Full Coverage. I just wanted to feel safe. At that time I thought maybe I would not use it but it made me more relaxed. We arrived in Bali around the evening of February 7. It was about eight o clock when we got to the airport. With a kid and many bags we went to the Easy Rent Bali counter. The staff brought a Toyota Agya to us. My wife and I checked the car. There were some small scratches and they marked them on the paper. I also took some photos. My kid was tired and kept asking if we could go to the hotel so I wanted to finish fast and drive away. The first few days were fine. We drove to the beach and to some local food places. The car was small but for three people and our luggage it was ok. I even joked to my wife and said I was happy I bought full coverage because I did not know the roads well. She laughed and said I was too careful. About one or two days before return day something happened in the afternoon. We were on a narrow street with many motorbikes parked on the side. I was driving slowly. The road was a bit wet from light rain and felt a bit slippery. When I turned the wheel I did not calculate the space very well. The right front wheel hit a stone at the edge of the road. I heard a loud knock. My kid got scared in the back and asked what happened. I stopped the car and got out to check. The wheel rim had a clear scratch and the tire had a small damaged area on the side. My heart dropped at that moment. I started to think how much this would cost. I told my wife that we were lucky we had AXA Full Coverage or it might be a big bill. But I was still worried that maybe they would try not to pay or say it was my fault in some special way. We went to return the car a bit earlier than planned. It was around the afternoon of February 10 around four something. At the office I told the counter staff what happened. He checked the car carefully and used a small light to look near the wheel and tire. He wrote some things on his form. I asked him about the cost. He told me the amount in local money and when I changed it in my mind it was about a bit more than forty pounds. I felt a bit sad to pay that because on a family trip every pound matters. But I knew this was part of the damage so I paid it first. I thought I could try to get it back from the insurance. Back at the hotel that night I started to put all the papers together. I had their invoice and receipt and also my photos of the damage. My kid was sleeping and I was sitting on the balcony with my phone and the documents. I told my wife that this insurance was probably going to save our budget. I prepared the claim materials and sent them as required. To be honest I was not sure if it would work. I just waited for news. After some time the customer service team contacted me and told me they had passed my documents to the insurance company for review. So I kept checking my email and my account now and then. I am busy with work and family so I sometimes asked my wife to check for me. She asked me if I thought they would take a long time. I just said I hoped it would be smooth and the amount was not huge. One evening at home after dinner I opened my email and saw a new message about the claim. I clicked it and saw that the claim was approved. The amount was GBP 43.70. Then I checked my account and the money was already there. I told my wife that they really paid all of it back. She smiled and said it was a small scare but a good result. For me the whole process was simple from my side. First I paid the rental company for the damage when I returned the car. Then I collected all the proof and sent the claim. After that I answered some questions and gave any extra files they asked for. Then one day the money just arrived. It felt fair and clear. As a parent traveling with a kid this kind of protection feels very important. When I picked the options I only thought about bad luck maybe happening. When it really happened I was happy that I made that choice. The small accident did not ruin our trip or our mood. My kid did not really feel the stress and we could still enjoy our time. This experience made me prefer booking with this kind of insurance in the future. I like that even things like tires and glass are covered. When something small goes wrong I do not need to worry that a repair bill will break the whole plan. For me it was a real example of a time when I could say I was really glad I bought it at the start and QEEQ ended up helping us a lot.

AXA Full Coverage

I will start with the bad part. On this Bali business trip I really ran into some trouble with the rental car. I booked the car through QEEQ. I landed in Bali around February 20th 2026 in the evening and went to pick up the car from Easy Rent Bali the next day around 7 pm. It was a Toyota Yaris with automatic gear. The accident happened near the end of my rental. It was around the afternoon of February 27th. I had a meeting with a client so I parked on a narrow street. When I came back and opened the door the car next to me was very close. I did not judge the distance well in that second and the edge of my door scratched the other car. When I heard that scraping sound I just froze. In my head I only thought this is bad I will have to pay a lot. I got out and checked. My own car door had a clear scratch and the other car had a mark too. Later a staff member from the rental company came to look. His face was serious. He said they would follow their rules. I started to calculate in my mind. If I had to pay everything myself it could be a big amount and would break my business travel budget. At that moment I felt really lucky that I added AXA Full Coverage when I made the booking. When I bought it I was not very sure and I even hesitated about the extra cost. Now I felt that if I did not buy it I would feel terrible this time. I told the rental staff that I had this insurance. They still wrote down the damage on their form and put an amount for the door scratch. It was around 3,500,000 IDR. When I looked at that number I was still nervous. Even if I knew I had insurance I was worried the claim might be hard or take a very long time. After I went back I started to prepare all the things they needed. I took many photos of the door damage. I walked around the car and took different angles because I was afraid the pictures would not be clear. I also took photos of the paper I signed when I picked up the car and the paper they gave me when I returned it. At one point the service team contacted me and said the page that showed the deductible was a bit blurry. I got nervous again and worried they might use this reason to say no. Good thing I also had a photo of the paper from pick up and I sent that to them so they could check by themselves. Then I just waited for news. After a short time they told me the checked damage amount was 3,500,000 IDR. I thought this would be the basic number for the claim. Then they told me the bank payment in my account would be 34,558,500 IDR. I was really surprised. I read the number twice and asked again. It was much more than I expected. My first thought was this is actually very nice. During the claim they also asked me for a full home address. I was in Malaga in Spain so I gave my address in full. It was Avenida Doctor Gálvez ginachero 21 4º B 29009 Malaga Spain. They checked the details with me. I could feel they really did not want to make a mistake with the bank information. What I remember most is that the whole process was not very complicated for me. They did not throw strange words at me. They just told me to send clear photos and give my full address then I waited. As a business traveler I am usually busy with meetings and emails. This kind of simple process was a big help. I only needed to follow the steps and send what they asked. When I saw the message that the claim was successful and the money was sent to my bank I finally relaxed. All the worries I had before about my travel budget and if the rental company would give me more trouble just disappeared. When I think back if I did not add AXA Full Coverage this door scratch could have become the worst cost of my whole Bali trip. Once I change that local money into euros it is not a small number at all. Now the rental company got their damage money and I received the payout from the insurance. The case ended in a clean way. For me this feeling is very important. When I travel for work I already have many things in my head. Having one less money problem really makes the trip feel a lot lighter.
