I thought about it again. If I paid the full amount at the start my credit card limit would feel very tight and I would keep thinking about it. With this way I used 1 dollar to lock the booking and the rest was charged before the trip. For a student like me it makes the pressure on my card much smaller and I do not need to think about interest or due dates so I can just focus on getting ready for my travel.
