For the next few days I did not think about it much. Before the trip they sent me an email that pickup time was coming and that reminded me of the booking. I checked my card again and the rest of the payment was already taken. It was smooth and clear and there were no strange extra fees. I did not need to contact customer support or do anything. It felt like the whole thing was finished quietly in the background. For someone like me who travels from another country and needs to watch the travel budget this way of only paying 1 dollar first makes planning a lot easier and I do not worry that my credit card will get too much pressure at once.
