I liked this booking mainly because I only paid 1 dollar at the start. I used QEEQ and saw this plan called One-Dollar Freeze. When I clicked confirm I was thinking in my head if this is real and if they would really just take 1 dollar or if there would be some strange extra fee later. Then the booking got confirmed. The pickup was in Brevard County in the US around June 13th 2026 at noon. I booked a Budget Chrysler Pacifica same group with 7 seats. For someone my age paying the full amount at once feels a bit heavy. So when I saw I could lock the car with just 1 dollar I felt a lot more relaxed. My first thought was that I could just hold the car first and not blow up my credit card right away. During the next days I checked my credit card a couple of times. I saw they really only took that 1 dollar and there was no interest and no strange fee. I felt pretty safe then and that little voice in my mind that said this might be a trap slowly went away. When the trip was getting close they took the rest of the money in one charge. I got the text and for a second I was confused. Then I remembered this was from the One-Dollar Freeze booking because there was almost no pressure before so I almost forgot about it. From picking up the car in Brevard County to returning it in Orlando around June 16th at noon I did not worry about payment at all. The main feeling for me was that this way of paying in two steps broke that tense moment when a big amount hits your card in one go. I also added one child safety seat so I thought the total price would scare me more. But since I only paid 1 dollar at the start my stress was much lower. I kept thinking it would be nice if more big payments worked like this so young people would feel less pressure with their credit cards. This experience really made me like this one dollar first and auto charge later style and I remembered it was an option they gave me through QEEQ.
