Price Drop Protector

I think the funniest part of this car booking actually has nothing to do with driving. It was that I suddenly felt like I made money for free. I used QEEQ to plan my Turkey trip. I booked a Hyundai i20 automatic with Nissa, picking up in Nevsehir in the morning around May 25 and dropping it off in Kayseri the next day around noon on May 26. When I booked, I was doing small math in my head, changing the price to VND and thinking this was ok, so I just paid. A bit later, I got an email on my phone. My first thought was that something went wrong with my booking and I got a little nervous. I opened it and then I saw the price went down. They had already made a new booking for me and sent back the price difference in VND. I just stared at the screen for a moment and in my head I said, so Price Drop Protector really works, it is not just some nice words. I did not check prices again and I did not change anything. I literally did nothing and then found out I saved a big amount of money. I started to think that this extra money could pay for a better dinner during my trip and my mood went straight up. At first I only cared if the car was automatic, had four doors and five seats and if the trunk was big enough. I did not expect any surprise discount. I even looked at the numbers they sent. The difference in VND looked huge and my first thought was this is like many hot pot meals in Ho Chi Minh City. I felt a strange kind of safety. It felt like someone in the background was watching the price for me and quietly helping me save money. I just needed to think about where to go and how to drive. From my side it was simple. One booking, then later I wake up and see that my account basically got a small surprise gift. I told my friends about this. They were shocked because they said many platforms never tell you when the price drops unless you ask. This time it was the opposite and they gave me money back by themselves. I thought that if I book a car again, having this thing that automatically returns the difference makes me relax a lot. I do not need to refresh quotes every few days and keep checking if the price went down. For someone like me, an overseas traveler who thinks too much and is also too lazy to compare prices all the time, this kind of passive saving feels really nice.

Dedicated customer service

When I think about that car rental in Turkey the first thing in my mind is not the view but the numbers on my bill. I booked the car with QEEQ and I thought it would just be a normal rental. Then I saw a few charges in Turkish lira on my credit card and I got nervous right away. The whole story actually started after I returned the car. It was around the afternoon of April twenty sixth or twenty seventh at Izmir airport. I was sitting in the terminal with my bag and I checked my credit card app. I saw two pending holds of 8000 lira each one charge of 7654.79 lira and another one of 4999.97 lira. At first I thought I read it wrong. I checked again and did the math. It looked like much more than what I expected to pay. I remembered the night I picked up the car in Denizli around April twenty fourth or twenty fifth. The light at the Europcar counter was kind of dim. The staff gave me some papers and spoke fast. I already felt a bit unsure. From that moment the thought that I might be overcharged kept spinning in my head. Now when I look back these numbers are not scary anymore because the support team helped me ask about each charge and explained them. I slowly learned that some amounts were deposits some were one way drop fees and some difference came from exchange rates. At that time I knew nothing. I only saw many charges and felt like my money was just taken away. I want to start from the result. Right now I know that the final real charge was 7654.79 lira for the one way return and the rest were deposit holds that would be released. But on that day I was very confused. I was pulling my suitcase with one hand and typing on my phone with the other hand. I wrote a long message to their support. I told them I saw 7654.79 lira plus two 8000 lira holds and one 4999.97 lira and I really did not understand any of it. As a visitor in a foreign country seeing so many numbers on my statement made me feel a bit scared. I was afraid the rental company would just take money and no one would help me. The reply came faster than I expected. It really felt like someone was specially following my case. They told me not to worry too much and said they would ask the rental company. They also reminded me that some of these 8000 lira amounts were only temporary holds and not final charges. I was sitting in the waiting area listening to Turkish announcements that I could not understand. I was tired and stressed. When I saw that someone answered me carefully and checked the details one by one I felt a bit calmer. During the next few days after I went back to Singapore this problem was still in my mind. Every time I had a break I opened the app to see if the 8000 lira holds changed. Each time there was something new I texted them again. It felt a bit like waiting for test results at school. The exam is already over but you keep worrying about the score. The support team kept updating me. They told me they were in touch with the rental company. They explained that the deposit would be cancelled after some working days. They also told me that the 7654.79 lira was the correct one way drop fee and it matched what I should pay. When the bank changed it to my home currency it just looked like a bit more. Before this I had no idea about such small differences. I only followed the number on the screen. I was stuck on the idea that I paid one extra deposit. I really believed one of the 8000 lira amounts was not normal. Support explained that the total deposit amount in the rules was about that level and the way the rental company held it made it look like two parts. They also told me to watch the pending status on my card because when the bank finished processing it my limit would come back. I remember staring at my banking app and watching those pending lines slowly disappear. It felt like I could finally breathe. In the end what I felt the most was that someone was walking with me through all these numbers that I did not understand. I am not good at calling foreign companies. I do not know their terms. If I had to solve it alone I might give up and just accept the loss. This time they kept checking for me and telling me which line was deposit and which line was the real charge. My job was only to wait a bit. For a person like me who still feels like a student and always needs a calculator when doing math this kind of care is very clear. Even though I did get a bit annoyed and worried that the deposit would take a long time to be released I also learned that next time if something like this happens I do not have to panic alone. Someone can help turn these complicated numbers into simple words I can understand.

Price Drop Protector

Did you ever have this moment when you book something and then you see the same thing get cheaper a few days later. I was worried about this when I booked my car through QEEQ. I planned a trip to Goreme in Turkey. I wanted to pick up a small automatic car like an Opel Corsa from Nissa in the afternoon on May 17 and return it in the same town in the afternoon on May 21. When I paid in Japanese yen the price looked fine. But in my head I kept thinking what if the price goes down later. One night I was at home in Japan. I was just scrolling on my phone while looking at the lights outside the window. Then I saw a new email about my booking. My first thought was that the price went up. When I opened it I saw that because I had Price Drop Protector on my booking they found a cheaper price for the same type of car. The system already made a new booking for me with the lower price and they would refund the difference. It was more than ten thousand yen. I read the number twice to be sure I did not see it wrong. I felt a bit shocked. I did nothing special. I just booked like normal. And now I saved extra money for free. For a student this amount is pretty important. I already started to think about using it for more Turkish tea in Goreme or some small gifts to bring back to Japan. The best part for me was that nothing important changed. The pick up place was still in Goreme in the afternoon. The return time was still in the afternoon a few days later. The rental company was the same and the car group like the Opel Corsa automatic stayed the same. I did not need to call the rental counter or any customer service. From my side I only read one email and they handled the rest. Before this I always felt I had to watch prices all the time when I booked things. Now it feels like someone is watching the price for me in the background. When I think about the extra yen I saved with this price drop I still feel pretty happy.

Price Drop Protector

I was a bit worried when I first booked because I was going to Trabzon in Turkey alone and my budget was not very high. On the QEEQ site I kept doing math in my head while I looked at the car prices. I chose a Peugeot Traveller with Cizgi and when I was about to pay I saw there was a thing called Price Drop Protector. It said if the price went down they would rebook and give me the difference back. I thought the price should not change that much but I still clicked it. It cost me nothing extra and I did not need to do anything. A few days later I was planning my trip and I was thinking if I should go back and check the price again to see if it got cheaper. Then I felt tired just thinking about checking every day. In my head I said to myself that I should stop stressing and that it was good enough that I had a car booked. I put my phone away and tried to focus on other things. One day I was on my phone and I saw an email that said my booking was updated. My first reaction was that something went wrong. I felt a bit scared because I thought maybe the car was gone or I had to pay more. I opened the email and read it slowly. Then I saw that the price had dropped and they had already rebooked the same type of car for me and gave me some money back. I was a bit shocked and the only thing in my mind was that this thing actually worked and was not just some nice words on the page. The email showed how much I saved. It was not a crazy big number but for someone like me who travels alone every bit helps. I quickly started to plan how to use that money. In my head I was like this can be a few more Turkish teas in Trabzon or maybe one more dish at dinner. It felt like the trip suddenly got a little bit richer without me paying more. The funny part is that I did not change anything in my booking and I did not talk to customer service about it. It just happened by itself. Before this I even thought maybe I should wait a few more days before booking because prices might go down. Now when I think about it I am glad I did not sit there and refresh the price every day and delay the booking. I just booked the car and went back to my life. I waited for my visa and worked on my travel plan while they kept an eye on the price for me in the background. That day when I was packing my stuff in the living room I opened that email again and looked at it one more time. I started to recalc my total budget in my head and saw that I now had a small extra part because of the refund. When you travel alone and you have to pick up a car late at night in a new city there is some pressure. I always think about where I can save a bit so I have some backup money in case something happens. For other people this refund might just be a small nice thing. For me it felt like someone stood next to me and helped me save money. Now in my mind when I think about my pick up time in Trabzon which is around the night of May twenty first close to eleven I feel more relaxed. I know the car is booked and the price even went lower later. I do not have that feeling of regret that I should have waited longer. Before I often felt bad when I booked something and then saw the price fall later. This time because of Price Drop Protector my feeling is very different. I can book early and then focus on other things like checking the routes and reading about places around Trabzon. I do not need to stay in that loop of asking myself every day if I should wait. When the price really went down the work was already done for me and the money just came back on its own. When I think of this booking now the thing I remember most is not the car model. It is that moment when I checked my payments and saw the refund amount. I felt like I earned a small amount for free. I did nothing and I did not argue with anyone about the price. They just made the same car cheaper for me. As a solo traveler that feeling is quite rare and it makes my whole trip feel a bit lighter.

One-Dollar Freeze

If I use one word to say how I felt I would say relaxed. I booked the car with QEEQ and the thing that really stood out to me was not the car itself. It was their One-Dollar Freeze payment plan that made me feel no pressure from the very start. I picked up the car on April 26th 2026 early in the morning around six in Istanbul. The car company was Keddy by Europcar. I booked an Opel Corsa with automatic gear. It was a small four door car with five seats and it felt right for the city. That morning I went to the counter with my confirmation. The staff checked my info and asked me to sign the contract and look at the car. I felt very calm because before that moment my credit card was not charged with a big amount at all. The part that I remember the most is the moment when I made the booking. I was still in Singapore searching online. Many rental sites wanted to charge the full amount at once. I am still a student and my credit card limit is not very high. If a big payment is taken in one shot I get nervous. It feels like my card is suddenly full and I worry that I will not have enough room for other costs. At that time I was also counting money for flights and hotels so my budget was pretty tight. Then I saw they had One-Dollar Freeze. It said I only needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car and the rest would be charged before the rental started. At first I did not fully trust it. I was afraid they would suddenly add extra fees later. But the price on the page was clear and the taxes were already included. So I decided to try. After I paid that 1 dollar nothing really changed on my card. It felt like just a small sign that I booked the car but my car for Istanbul on that day was already locked in. While I waited for the trip I sometimes opened my email to check the booking. I still worried a bit that I might forget to keep enough credit. Closer to the start date the payment went through automatically. My bank sent me a message on my phone. I checked the amount and it was the same as on the booking. There were no strange extra charges. I felt really light at that moment because I did not need to block a lot of money months before the trip. On the morning of April 26th when I went to pick up the car my stress was much lower. When the counter staff asked for my credit card for the deposit I still had a good amount of free limit on it. This is very important for someone young like me. Some of my friends told me that other platforms charged a big payment when they booked and later their card limit became very tight so it was hard to handle sudden costs. I returned the car the same day in the evening around seven. I drove it back to the Istanbul office. The staff walked around the car and checked that there were no new scratches and then they let us go. During the return process I did not feel afraid of some surprise charge because after my booking experience I already trusted the way they took payment and it felt clear and steady. When I think about this trip the thing I like the most is that I could lock the booking with just 1 dollar. It let me fix the car first without paying a big amount right away. I could make sure about my flights and hotel costs first then prepare the rental money later. For a student with limited budget like me this flexible way of payment really helped me a lot and my credit card pressure was much smaller. I did not feel so tense before the trip.

AXA Full Coverage

The lights at Istanbul airport were very bright at night and I booked my car on QEEQ. I picked up a small Ford around the night of February 11th 2026. The pick up felt normal and fast. I did not think too much because I had AXA Full Coverage and I felt kind of safe. The real problem started after I returned the car. Around February 13th in the evening I brought the car back on time. The staff at the rental counter checked the car very quickly and told me I could leave. Later when I checked my card bill I saw several extra charges. One big part was for cleaning and there were some other fees that I did not understand. A small part of the deposit also did not show as returned. I got a bit stressed because the total amount was not small. I went to ask the rental counter first. They just gave me some papers that were hard to read and said it was for cleaning and other things. I felt more confused so I decided to contact the support team. I also told them that I had bought AXA Full Coverage and I was worried this might be a long and hard case. They asked me to send all the papers I could find. I took photos of the rental contract and my credit card bills. I am just a normal traveler and all these numbers and codes were difficult for me so I checked them one by one. They told me that part of the cleaning fee could be claimed under this insurance. When I heard that I felt a lot more relaxed. After that some time passed. They kept checking with the rental company about the unclear charges and asked me once more for a clear screenshot of the cleaning fee on my bill. I sent everything they needed and then I just waited. At one point they also explained that the deposit part needed to be handled by the rental company itself so I focused on the cleaning claim first. One day I checked my credit card again and I saw a new incoming amount. It was almost the same as the cleaning fee. I checked the emails and the bill several times and then I knew they had paid this part back to me. At that moment I really felt that buying this insurance was worth it. If I did not have it I think I would just lose that cleaning money and take it as a bad lesson. Now when I think about it I was very annoyed at the extra charges at the start but at least the cleaning part was refunded in the end and that made me feel much better about the whole rental.
