Customers will meet our Airport representatives on arrival at near Exit Gate S 1 who is holding a paging board with customer names and SR Rent A Car Sign board. In order to rent in SRI LANKA please be advised that customers have to hold an international driving permit and this needs to be approved by the Sri Lanka Automobile Association. Therefore the IDP and passport of the driver has to be faxed or emailed to SR rent acar in advance (please allow at least 2-3 working days) to e-mail - srilankarentacar@yahoo.com. The cost of 50 EURO will be payable at counter The approved documents will be at the location to be picked up along with the vehicle. Customers who don't have International driving License must go in person to the Dept of Motor Vehicles for approval. Mon-Fri, non-public holidays only. Passport photo is required and a cost will be charged.
