If I use one sentence to talk about this booking I will say my money stress became much lower. Why do I say that? Because this was my first time using One-Dollar Freeze on QEEQ and at the start I was a bit worried it might be hard to use. Go back a few weeks. That day I was on my phone looking at this MG Marvel R in Milan. It was automatic with five seats and the car looked really nice. I asked myself should I book it now. But then I thought about paying the full amount on my credit card. My limit would be very tight and I still had other travel plans to pay. So I kept hesitating. Then I saw that I could pay only 1 dollar first. A question came to my mind. Is it really just 1 dollar? I tried to continue and on the payment page it showed they only take 1 dollar now and the rest will be charged before pick up. I asked myself again will the later payment be a problem? Will there be any interest? The price info was very clear. There was no interest. It was just a split way to pay. So I thought why not try it. Around May 23 I paid this 1 dollar. When I saw the bank message I almost laughed. It really was just like a cheap coffee. After some days when it was close to my pick up time in Milan around May 24 I opened my booking again. The car was still the MG Marvel R from OK Mobility and the pick up time was in the morning. Everything looked fine. Another question came. What if the auto charge fails? But I did not get any crazy spam messages. Before that the support had only reminded me to make sure my card had enough balance. I checked my card and it was fine so I just waited. A bit before the pick up I saw that the rest of the money was charged. The amount was the same as before. Not one euro more. At that moment I felt very relaxed because I did not need to lock a big amount on my credit card weeks earlier and I did not need to worry about strange extra fees. For this whole booking I was always doing a small Q and A with myself. Is it really only 1 dollar? Will they charge more later? Will the payment fail? In the end I saw it was just me thinking too much. Their setup worked well and for a young person like me who has to watch the budget this way of paying a little first with no interest is really friendly.
