Can I really book a car with just one dollar This was my first thought when I saw the One-Dollar Freeze option on QEEQ. It said I only needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car. I was planning my trip to Nice in France. I would arrive around May 21 at noon and leave around May 27 in the evening. I needed a small automatic car like a Volkswagen Golf. I tried this payment option and on the payment page it really only took 1 dollar. My credit card bill also showed only this small amount. I felt a lot more relaxed because I did not need to pay the full rental price at once. The pressure on my credit card was much lower and I could keep more money for my flight and hotel first. A short time before I arrived in Nice the rest of the rental fee was charged to my card automatically. I did not need to do anything extra and there was no extra charge. When I went to the SIXT counter at the airport to pick up the car the staff checked my booking and everything was fine. They prepared a same group car for me and no one stopped me or asked me to pay some strange extra money because of the payment method. During this rental the thing I liked most was this way of paying only 1 dollar at the start to lock the car. It made the booking feel very easy and my budget felt more flexible.

Can you hold a car with just one dollar That was the first thing in my head when I saw the One-Dollar Freeze on QEEQ. I was planning my trip and my budget was not very clear. I still wanted a car in Nice so I just paid one dollar to lock it. I felt much more relaxed after that. Before the trip started they took the rest from my card automatically.
